Synopsis Righteous Anger: A Survivor’s True Story
I am a battered spouse fighting for the rights that have been denied me. The purpose of this blog is to expose corruption, cover-up, child molestation and hurting children especially within two Yavapai County, Arizona school districts and the Yavapai County as a whole. It will specifically focus on exposing the most recent criminal and immoral actions of Bernie Kruse (a school psychologist & since mid-2002 also a director of special education) and his co-conspirators as they relate to child molestation and other crimes within the schools and, on the personal side of his life, the committing of domestic violence and attempted murder against me, his wife. This will give voice to victims of monsters. It will expose the corruption and brokenness of the present legal system and the unreasonable roadblocks that are faced by those seeking justice, especially women and children whose voices are silenced by the very systems that should protect them. One’s freedom of speech is used because serious issues have been buried by the entities which have failed to protect the innocent from monsters. Putting these issues into the public forum is not only a viable option, but a way of placing them in the public‘s hands for their knowledge, understanding, and direct, deliberate, swift action. This site will also suggest legislative changes and ways to strengthen existing laws, to enforce current laws, and to provide recourse when laws are not enforced and fail to protect the innocent. My hope is that someone, possibly a news group or a domestic violence activist, will hear this and investigate, give real exposure of the pivotal issues within my story.
Let us begin. April 2005 My husband tried to kill me. The manner was cold, odious, evil in nature. But, I refused to die. This time was different. With God’s Grace I was determined. This time was different. He had help with his crime. I’d stepped into a perfect storm of concentric events of which I was a lynch pin. This time was different. The jurisdiction(s) were legally corrupt and broken. This time it is different…. I am alive and will no longer be silenced.
But first, the children must be protected.

This is long over-due; no more delays or interruptions.
What many of you didn’t know; especially relevant to Bernard L.‘Bernie’ Kruse’s time at Mayer Unified School District #43, Mayer, AZ; including just prior. Key points – there are others. And no, I’m not lying or crazy (but I/we do know the trash talk he & Nelson, Carey & Dean put out there to discredit me/us; especially after Bernie – with direct help from James ‘Jim’ Nelson & Melissa J. ‘Missy‘ (Grudem born Aug. 1977) Carey; aka Melissa J. Kruse – failed in their attempt to kill me – to shut me up about what I am & know — his secrets. see post 59th Birthday
We thought there were just two main secrets but when he/ they failed in their premeditated plan to kill me, we learned of a 3rd. Their motives are criminally self serving & do not exclude $.
Bernie Kruse (born Nov. ’51): is my husband since 1978; his only legal wife.
He is a psychopath, narcissist, sadist, & pathological liar and thief.
There is absolute proof; he is capable of perjury, falsifying documents, and fraud.
He is a horrific batterer and molests kids (young, preschool kids – are the ones I directly know about) — he also hurts & hits kids including special needs and special education children. He has several arrests hidden in his background & more. There is fraudulent information on his resume & proof of the truth about his purported F.H.S.U. dual masters’ degree. Bernie (aka Bennie) is a triple diagnosed but untreated addict: drugs, alcohol, and sex. He, including while at MUSD, steals drugs from the district. He’s a sexual predator, misogynist, (and serial adulterer who targets esp. young, married teachers).
Turns out Bernie had a 3rd main secret at MUSD AZ; he was shacked up with his supervisee, Missy, an also married very young (approx. 30yrs younger than he) pre-school teacher*; and he was living a double-life/adultery/probable bigamy. Nelson “let him hand-pick, hire, and supervise her”; Jim Nelson, superintendent, knowingly facilitated this & more. Most know the serious jeopardy their actions caused the District. *update: Missy Carey aka Melissa J. Grudem aka Melissa J. Kruse – now employed with Dysart USD, Surprise, AZ. *update 10/09 Jim Nelson now employed with Continental School District #39, Green Valley, AZ.

Bernie is capable of extreme, odious, and sudden violence; also we, his family, were on the receiving end when things did not go well at work- it’s not called domestic violence for nothing. see post May, ’09: A Picture is Worth A Thousand Words
His main secret was me; the existence of his very real wife, his vulnerable adult severely, physically disabled* wife – due to his years of beatings and brutality. His “old, useless” wife, who exists complete with extensive factual, provable knowledge of him – the true facts. I’m a victim/survivor of his horrific domestic violence. He kept isolated; hidden.
Did you not ever wonder why you never saw his wife or did you even know he had a family? Some of you didn’t even know we existed.
* I also know quite well what Kruse’s real, frequently expressed and acted upon, attitude is toward the disabled kids and districts!!!
He knows that I know all his secrets (but since 4/05 I quickly learned not quite all). However, since then we have found most.
FYI His only child, now an adult, also one of his first victims, had legally changed name & Dad, Bernie, was confronted – not long before he began with MUSD -that he’d never be allowed near his son’s (future) family...to be continued…see June post Father’s Day and expanded within Domestic Violence sections. I also know some of the what & how he & Nelson were embezzling school funds and property & illegally using Federal funds, Special Ed funds. I know some of their (& Dean’s) background before MUSD. MUSD’s tenure of extortion or bribery or birds of a feather or all three…? Have knowledge of Bernie’s ‘hitting on’ other staff, on site, including his first yr at MUSD & other improper, unprofessional misconduct throughout his time there and other districts.
HOWEVER On 4/05 I didn’t know (what Yavapai County entities already KNEW 4/05) about varied lawsuits against James ‘Jim’ Nelson et al including a Federal child molestation case involving both he and Kruse. This section absolutely will be further expanded as it is part of the motivation to kill me; to silence me.

Bernie knew, for years, prior to ’05, that if re: any one of the following three things, that if I ever found that he was doing, I would blow the whistle on him = a batterer with a physically disabled wife as a result of his brutality, he is a child molester & hurts kids, (liar, and thief).
1) If I knew he was working directly with kids, esp. young kids.
2) If He was traveling with kids.
3) If He was trying to be a principal.
Within 24 hrs of his/their implementing his/their plan to kill me — to permanently silence me, I learned that all 3 were in play. RE:
1) He’d lied to me; his job at Mayer/Spring Valley, AZ was not just administrative.
2) He was traveling with kids, and
3) He & Nelson were giving him a principalship.
Concurrently, I was informed about his personal $$ whore: the preschool teacher, ‘Missy’ Carey (Melissa J. (Grudem) Carey, & her giving him unfettered access to her class in spite of parental concerns and numerous complaints. These complaints, along with numerous others, against Kruse were routinely quashed by Jim Nelson.

The specifics of what was done to me by an orchestrated effort involving key figures within Yavapai County, includes – being bullied, threatened, hurt — ordered to stop talking about it (what I knew, evidence etc.) because “they were afraid of it becoming public & there’d be even more lawsuits; from parents… if (parents) knew.” There is some very critical timing, in payoffs to Kruse, which continued into the Nadaburg AZ School District No. 81: Berny Kruse, Psychologist.
Finally, after Bernie Kruse and Jim Nelson’s 6/05’s sudden resignation from MUSD & that of Candy/Sherry (sp?)- Jim Nelson’s wife & Bernie’s secretary, and the pre-school teacher, Missy (Grudem) then Carey who may now go by Missy Kruse [proof aka Melissa J. Kruse] – and the departure of all four to ‘parts unknown’: This is what I too know, learned about re: what they factually left behind particularly RE: Bernie Kruse. His personnel file, completely purged. All his travel vouchers –gone, as were the billing receipts for grants that he was involved with. AND 3 years of IEPs, which he was directly responsible for, were either never done or destroyed i.e. there were none! The district was found to be over $500,000. in the red and several other quite serious problems immediately surfaced including one impacting special ed. kids & funding. The district was scheduled that Fall for State audit impacting significant funding: & tragically, the cover-up broadened
